I am always a sucker for any new Julie Ebersole release from Essentials by Ellen, and the August release was no exception. I had to have Happy Haunting along with a lot of the other things in the release, so I finally got to make a card yesterday with them. Lookie:

I admit, I went nuts with the dies. I had gotten the Alpine Window and Alpine Snowfall dies for free for promoting that release, and I decided they would work equally well for Halloween with a bit of editing! I cut the house out of the house layer layer and adhered it in the tree layer, cutting off one of the trees. I then used the die set Wasabi Accessories to create a spooky fence. I figured that the Alpine Snowfall dies could be stars. I stamped the greeting using Versamark and embossed using white EP.

For the background, I stamped the Rustic Woodgrain background stamp from the August release using Ranger Distress Archival Spiced Marmalade. I then rubbed the Fossilized Amber pad from the same kit over the background to make it even more rustic looking. I stamped and die cut the ghosts from Happy Haunting, popped them up on top, and stamped the little stars in the corner to complete the visual triangle.

STINKIN CUTE! I plan on having a lot more fun with these products. Happy Haunting is a fun set, easy to stamp and design with!
