Simon Says Stamp Lunch Box Notes 2 – Believe in You Release

Simon Says Stamp Lunch Box Notes 2 – Believe in You Release

Simon Says Stamp has a new release called Believe in You, and I was fortunate enough to receive the new set, Lunch Box Notes 2, to play with.

I don’t have kids in school any more, and so I wanted to find a use for this set that did not involve lunch box notes, which this set would be great for, and they even have some matching dies for it that will work for that purpose. I loved the “You are out of this world!” stamp and immediately thought of the Cosmic Trail die I’d bought from a previous Simon release. And because it’s still World Watercolor Month, I decided to make a watercolored background and then die cut it. Lookie:

I apologize for this pretty rotten photo. It was late at night, I was tired, and getting a good photo without a glare off the greeting (which was embossed with Ranger’s holographic embossing powder) was just about impossible. I sent the card off for the Facebook Live that Simon is going to have the next morning and didn’t realize that I didn’t get a very good photo. It is very sparkly, but you’ll have to take my word for it! I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors to create the background. Behind the die cut background is some DCWV Glitzy Glitter paper. I stamped the greeting using Versamark Onyx Black and heat embossed it with Ranger’s Holographic EP then fussy cut it out and popped it on top with some foam dots.

This view almost shows how pretty it really is.  I think Lunch Box Notes 2 would make great encouraging notes, book marks, or cards and would be particularly good for teachers.

Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I participate in the affiliate program for Simon Says Stamp.

Enjoy! Ta!
