Paper Craft Crew 295 – Mama Elephant She’s So Lovely
Welcome back to the Paper Craft Crew Challenge! This week we have a sketch challenge.
I decided to do some more coloring for the Daily Marker 30-Day Challenge. I decided to grab a new set I had sitting on my desk, She’s So Lovely from Mama Elephant.
STINKIN’ CUTE! I also still had Lawn Fawn’s Really Rainbow paper on my desk, so I decided to make a Pride card, as it is Pride Month. I believe in people being who they are meant to be! I decided to use 2 different diagonal stripes papers and layer them up.
I colored my image with Copic markers and added a little Sakura Starburst to the centers of the flowers. I stamped “Celebrating You” on Bazzill Card Shoppe’s Juicy Pear and cut it out with MFT Stamps Stitched Sentiment Strips. The rainbow and heart came from a set of Simon Says Stamp/Doodlebug Design Shape Sprinkles that came in one of their card kits and are no longer available, but I’ve linked a couple of sets of Sprinkles below that should contain similar pieces.
I added three little dots to the upper right corner to anchor the visual triangle and for PRETTY.
I also decorated the inside using Essentials by Ellen’s Classic Block Alphabet dies and another rainbow Sprinkle. The word “Take” was made with some very old Karen Foster Snap-Stamps.
You can play along with our challenge by clicking on this link.
Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Gina K, Sizzix, and Blick Art Supplies. Stampin’ Up! links go to my BFF Wendy Weixler’s store, who does not pay me except in eternal friendship, but you can change to your favorite demonstrator if you prefer. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you.
