Paper Crafts Crew #243 – Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Hipster
Welcome back to the Paper Crafts Crew Challenge! This week we have a color challenge:
I decided to break away from the pretty stuff I've been doing and get a little edgy. I fell in love with the Hipster set from Tim Holtz, especially the stamp I used on this card. Lookie:
HILARIOUS!!! I love this goat. He is so chill. I had fun combining 3 different Tim Holtz sets, including Hipster, Brushstrokes, and Mixed Media 2. The Hipster set comes with awesome animals with hip glasses and cute sayings. My daughters tell me that most of them are no longer "cool" but I don't care.
I decided to skew everything just a bit to add a little randomness to the card. I used Distress inks to stamp the colors, using Mixed Media 2 for the card base and Brushstrokes for the background and the color on the focal image.
I used a bit of Distress Kraft Core card stock for the greeting. I grabbed some washi tape in different colors to put behind the image.
I dug out some of my favorite arrow clips to add a little sumthin' sumthin'.
So, 'Sup? LOL.
