Fab Friday Challenge 95 – Lawn Fawn – Cutie Pie

Welcome back to the Fab Friday challenge over at the Fab Friday Challenge Blog!

This week we have a sketch challenge:

Cute sketch! This time, I abandoned my effort to use something from the uninked stash and used something brand spanky new that I just got! Lookie:

STINKIN' CUTE! I adore this little pie and the little Kawaii faces you can use with it! I actually caved and bought the dies for this set because a) They were pretty inexpensive and b) It's sometimes harder to get the smaller images to cut well with the Silhouette and the PixScan sheet, and c) I was feeling LAZY. I also happen to like that beveled edge you get using a die not an e-cutter.

I colored my cute pie with Copics and stamped the greeting with Memento Rich Cocoa and Potter's Clay inks. I filled in all the little dots on the i's with Prismacolor pencils.

This Kaisercraft embellishment from their Wooden Flare Cooking pack is just perfect, don't you think? I tied a bit of twine around it…so cute!

I wanted something metallic down in this corner to balance out the top of the card, so I used these enamel embellishments from Stampin' Up!

Oh so cute!!!

Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Ribbon Resource, Gina K, and Blick Art Supplies. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you. Stampin' Up! product links lead to their webstore, so please be sure to indicate your preference in demonstrator if it doesn't come up automatically!

You'll be able to see all of the Fab Friday team's creations and post one of your own by visiting the Fab Friday blog. You can also visit the other DT members' blogs and see what they've done with this challenge:
